Start Spreading The News!

Have you heard?

There's been a major facelift at The Broadway Cafe. They have undergone a change in management and it's as exciting a time as ever to be a Fan of TBC. You can still find all the great food and drink that they usually have but it has become a sort of special experience to go there. You almost feel like you should pay a cover charge just to walk through the door!

They've remodeled the seating area with new furniture and a new color scheme that feels very warm and welcoming. About a third of their dining area is now dedicated to their all new "computer lounge". Sleek new machines adorn the desks and patrons are welcome to browse to their heart's content. They even have some of the more popular recent games loaded onto all the machines and everyone is welcome to bring their own portable storage devices to enjoy their music and movies. But if you don't feel like sharing a computer with dozens of other people every day, you can bring in your own laptop since the whole place is WiFi accessible.

I've heard rumors from speaking to the new managers that they will be hosting different weekly events and gatherings like music nights, book clubs, and activities for children. Sounds like fun! I know I'll be going to the music night every week so come by and see me!

And finally, I for one can't wait to see what kind of new stuff they'll put on the menu. I hope they don't take away some of their classics, but I think it would be a blast if a few Fans of TBC got together regularly to try out something new. According to the official blog, they will have different seasonal options as the year moves on, so I can see myself definitely making TBC my second home.

Let me know what you all think. And let's try to work out a day and time which is good for most people to meet and catch up, listen to great music, and drink some great coffee.
